Ervin Barham is serving currently as the first full-time administrator for PAACS. Ervin is a native of North Carolina, having grown up in Lillington and a long time resident in the Charlotte area. He graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a certificate in Trust Management.
Prior to his call to work for the Lord full-time, he owned EB Consulting Services, a pension consulting firm which provided design and administration for all types of defined contribution plans, as well as consulting for other administration, accounting and legal firms.
When he and his wife were married, they realized that between the two of them, they had accumulated a good bit of credit card debt, and owned (along with 2 other individuals) a condo at the beach that was a money loser - but now has become a testimony to the Lord.
God, in his sovereign grace, mercy and provision has cleaned up the financial mess so that now they have been debt free since 2007. He used the Biblical principles taught by Larry Burkett and Crown Financial Ministries to do so. Since then, Ervin has felt called to teach those principles to others. He has been a volunteer budget coach since 1996 with his church.
He has been a Crown Seminar Instructor, a Money Map Coach Trainer and just prior to coming to PAACS, served on staff with Crown as the Money Map Coach manager.
